WEBP vs BMP: what changes when you convert
WEBP (WebP) was introduced in 2010 by Google and is best known for website images — smaller than jpg and png at the same quality. BMP (Bitmap Image File), created by Microsoft, is the better choice when you need legacy windows applications.
