Placing a signature that looks right

After creating your signature, drag it onto the signature line, resize to fit, and export. The signature is flattened into the page, so it prints and displays identically everywhere.

Why privacy matters most for signatures

A signed document is exactly what you do not want on someone else’s server. PurePDF signing runs entirely in your browser: the contract and your signature image never leave your device. Services that route signatures through their cloud create a copy you cannot control; a local-only tool structurally cannot.

A note on legal validity

Simple electronic signatures like these are legally recognized for most business and personal documents in most jurisdictions (under frameworks like ESIGN and eIDAS). Some documents — deeds, certain court filings — require qualified digital certificates or notarization, which is a different mechanism. When in doubt for high-stakes documents, confirm the required signature type with the receiving party first.
