SVG vs AVIF: what changes when you convert
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) was introduced in 2001 by the W3C and is best known for icons, logos, and illustrations that must stay sharp at any size. AVIF (AV1 Image File Format), created by the Alliance for Open Media (Google, Netflix, Mozilla), is the better choice when you need maximum web compression — typically 50% smaller than jpg.
