PNG vs PDF: what changes when you convert
PNG (Portable Network Graphics) was introduced in 1996 by the PNG Development Group as a GIF replacement and is best known for logos, screenshots, UI graphics, images that need transparency. PDF (Portable Document Format), created by Adobe, is the better choice when you need documents, printing, sharing multi-page content.
Why convert? PDF files are typically much smaller than PNG — expect a noticeable reduction in file size. Note that PNG transparency is not supported in PDF — transparent areas are filled with a white background.
Your PNG images are placed onto PDF pages in the order you upload them — ideal for turning photos, scans, or screenshots into a single shareable document.
